There are 1775 Anganwadi Centers in the district. Many jobs had become vacant in the past year as Anganwadi workers retired aged 60 or older and some died. There are currently 410 vacant Anganwadi and assistant positions in the district.
Because of this, there are problems with the operation of the centers. The government recently issued orders to recruit these posts. The orders also mentioned that prior to recruiting, the Anganwadi workers and helpers currently working should be adjusted with their consent. New hires will only be made after this process has been completed.
DPO Suresh Kumar Gupta announced that there were a total of 410 vacancies in the district. Prior to this recruitment, the government gave interested Anganwadi workers and assistants a chance to adapt. In the first phase, Anganwadi’s workers and helpers are given a chance to adapt.
The vacant positions will then be filled according to the reservation. Where the positions of Anganwadi workers and assistants are vacant, there is the possibility of an adjustment according to the reservation. After the adjustment, the recruitment process in the district will start again.
After approval by the DM, the position of the vacant positions will be clear.
The District Program Officer said applications for this will be accepted soon. After the applications have been verified by the CDPO, they will be adjusted upon receipt of approval by the DM. Only then will the current position of the vacancies according to the reservation be known.
Workers who moved to other districts after marriage also got a chance
Employees who have emigrated to other districts after marrying or changing their husbands are also given a chance in the adjustment process. The DSB announced that he had to obtain permission from the DM for this district. If there is a vacancy in this district according to the reservation, the adjustment can be made there.
