Preparations intensified for the arrival of Chief Minister
Karaana. The district administration has intensified preparations in view of the visit of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On the instructions of the DM, cleaning has been started at Helipad, Parking and Vijay Pathik College.
During an election rally in Shamli in 2018, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced the establishment of PAC battalion camps in Kairana and Kandhla areas. The administration had bought land for PAC camp in Unchagaon and firing range in Gurjarpur. In view of the 2022 assembly elections, the Chief Minister’s visit to the district is proposed this week. However, the official program of the Chief Minister has not been confirmed. Three days ago, hundreds of workers were engaged to clean the land of PAC camp.
On Tuesday, the work of cleaning the helipad and campus has been started in Vijay Singh Pathik Postgraduate College, Kairana. Along with this, parking arrangement has been made in Jagdish Prasad Mahavidyalaya just opposite to Public Inter College. Cleaning work was also done at the parking lot. During this, officials of the Development Block Office, Tehsil Administration and PWD are keeping an eye on the cleanliness work on the spot. Safai Nayak Rajkumar of Kairana Municipality told that about 400 sanitation workers are engaged in cleaning work.
Potholes started to be filled on the road to Unchagaon
Due to the proposed visit of the Chief Minister, the administration started the work of filling the potholes of the road on Unchagaon road by filling them with stones and dust. It is believed that before September 20, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of the PAC battalion camp to be built at Unchagaon in Kairana area and the land of the firing range in Gurjarpur. CM Yogi will come to Kairana by helicopter and will go to Unchagaon via road from here. There are potholes at various places in the road on Kairana-Kandla road. On the arrival of the Chief Minister, the administration started filling the pits from Kandhla Tirahe to Unchagaon by pouring stones and dust.
