Generators producing oxygen at the rate of 500-500 liters per minute have been installed at Sambhal District Hospital and Kaila Devi. Asmoli CHC has a generator producing 335 liters per minute oxygen. While Naroli and Chandausi CHCs have generators producing 90-90 liters of oxygen. To ensure that these generators continue to get electricity, the load of electricity connections is being increased and preparations are being made to install generators that generate electricity. Tender has been floated for installation of generator. This tender process will be completed on 6th August. It is believed that within a week all these hospitals will have electricity generators. District Surveillance Officer Dr. Manoj Chaudhary said that preparations are being made for the third wave of possible corona in the district. There is a provision of 136 oxygen beds. There are 50 extra beds. The beds can be increased if needed. At present, the system of electricity and power generator is being repaired to run the oxygen generator.
