The Allahabad High Court has ordered the FIR’s fair and impartial investigation filed under the Protection of Muslim Women (Protection of Marriage Rights) Act 2018 to be completed in two months. The court has ordered the superintendent of the Shahjahanpur Police Department to monitor the FIR located in the Mirzapur Police Station and ordered the relevant Mirzapur Police Station to complete the investigation based on evidence in two months.

The petitioner said that a case of assault, abuse and dowry harassment was filed on June 20, 20 but the police have not taken any action. The order was passed by a department bank of Justice Pritikar Diwakar and Justice Rajiv Mishra, while Nagma’s petition was dismissed.
