Schamli / Babri / Garhipukhta. After completing the post-election quorum in 36 grams of district panchayats that remained disorganized, the village chiefs and members were sworn to the oath. The Block Development Officers took the virtual oath.
The quorum was not completed in 36 of the district’s 230 grams of panchayats. For this reason, the oath of village heads and members in these grams of panchayats could not previously be taken. After completing the quorum after the by-election, the oath was taken in these 36 grams of panchayats on Friday. The affected block development officers swore the village chiefs and members virtually the oath of office and secrecy. An online swearing-in program was held at Bhandora Elementary School. The secretary of Gram Panchayat, Arjun Rana, took the oath to the village chief Sumitra Sharma. Then the members Savita, Samandar, Roopa, Punam, Mahendra, Munesh took an oath.
In the village of Bhattu, the newly elected village chief Komal Bawra was sworn online in the presence of Gram Panchayat secretary Pramod Kumar. In Gandewada Panchayat the oath was taken online to the village head Ramkumar in the presence of Panchayat secretary Mahendra Singh, in Kherki Pran Mohan and village members in the presence of Gram Panchayat secretary Randhir, Rajhad Pradhan Saroj Devi and members of Panchayat secretary Vaibhav Nirwal.
BDO Praveen Kumar, village secretary Nagendra Saroha swore an oath online to village head Satkari Devi and other Gram Panchayat members in the elementary school of Silawar village in Shamli block. Gram Panchayat members Memkala, Shyamal, Neha, Neeraj, Sudesh, Angoori Devi, Neelam etc. were present.
