After the repair work was completed on Monday, the supply could be resumed after about 11 hours in the afternoon. For this reason, around 50,000 residents had to deal with heat and humidity.
On Monday afternoon, the workers repaired the cable. The supply was then restored at around 1.30 p.m. After 20 minutes the power went out again. Under Engineer Ramnath said the 10 MVA transformer cable was blown on Sunday night. It has been repaired and supplies have been restored. The delivery was stopped due to roasting after 1.30 p.m. In the evening the electricity was switched on again.
People had to grapple all day with the problem of tripping in the feeders coming from the Kathgar feeder, the sub-center of the Dalmau power distribution section.
