Sirsia’s power substation Gholia is supplied from 132 KVA substation Bhinga. Whose main line has passed through the middle of Bhinga forest. Due to heavy rains, 33 KVA lines collided due to bending of tree branches. Due to which the power supply to the area was disrupted. Electricity personnel who reached the spot, got it restored with hard work.
At the same time, the power line of Machrihiva feeder of power substation Bhinga has also passed through the middle of Bhinga forest. Due to the sparking of which the wires collided with each other, many other villages including Abdul Kalam Nagar, Civil Line and Krishnanagar, villages of Hariharpurrani development area including Vargavargi, Chahalwa, Madarhawa, Machrihiva, Patijhiya remained submerged in darkness all night. There was resentment among the consumers due to the supply interruption in the midst of the rains.
