Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Varanasi on July 15th. He will donate projects valued at Rs 1583 crore. Meanwhile, a public meeting will take place on the BHU premises. PM Modi will also keep the promise he made to Kashi’s daughter in February 2019 for these projects. He will lay the foundation stone for the construction of a modern shooting range in the Rifle Club in Cantonment.PM Modi visited Varanasi in February 2019. During this time Divyangjan’s equipment was given away at the DLW Stadium. He spoke to many people and found out about their problems. Sumedha Pathak is very lucky to have a shooting range now. She says she can better prepare for filming now.

During this time, PM Modi spoke to national shooter Sumedha Pathak. He asked the Prime Minister to open a shooting range in Varanasi. He had said that due to the lack of a standard international shooting range in Banaras, the players were struggling. On which PM Modi had promised to open an international shooting range.

After the foundation stone was laid by the Prime Minister, the construction of the shooting range should give the talented sportsman a new platform. A modern shooting range is being built at the Rifle Club in Cantonment for Rs.6 crore 55 lakh. The Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam (UPRNNL) began digging the foundation itself in March after the first installment of Rs 2 crore was cleared for construction.Corporation project leader Ram Vijay said the foundation stone is fully prepared. The shooting range to be set up in the shooting club will have two floors. In the hall, 20 lanes with a range of 10 meters will be opened and the 50-meter range will be opened for 13 lanes.
