According to the report, these farmers are from Uttar Pradesh. That is, more than 7 lakh farmers in Uttar Pradesh will have to return the money received under the 10th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. According to the report released in this regard, the farmers of Uttar Pradesh who may have to return the 10th installment money are either paying income tax for earning from other sources or are getting cash benefits under PM Kisan Yojana. are not eligible. It is noteworthy that as per the terms of this scheme, an amount of Rs 6000 per year is released directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through three installments of Rs 2000 each. According to the rules, the farmers whose account has reached the amount under this scheme and they are found ineligible, then they will have to return the money.

Notices will be issued after Vis Elections:

According to the report, more than 7 lakh farmers have a little time left to return the money. Such ineligible beneficiaries will have to return the money till the state assembly elections are over. After the assembly elections are over, they will start getting notices to voluntarily return the money or be ready for recovery. According to the report, there is also a possibility that if the ineligible farmers do not return the money on time, then the central government can take legal action against them.

Money came in the accounts on 1st January:

It is worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 10th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on January 1. Under the PM Kisan Yojana launched by the central government in February 2019, eligible farmers are provided with a minimum income support of up to Rs 6,000 per year in three installments. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of beneficiaries with around 2.50 crores. In the report, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government said on condition of anonymity that the issue is politically sensitive. But the government will have to act as per the guidelines of the Center to ensure that only eligible farmers get benefits under PM-KISAN.
