PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme List Payment Update

The Prime Minister of our country has released the payment in a live streaming event on 24th December Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, Under this, more than 9,000 crore farmers will get direct bank transfer benefit of Rs 18,000 crore. Since the inception of the scheme, more than 1 lakh 10 thousand crore rupees have been transferred to the bank accounts. The government provides Rs. 6000/- per year in three equal installments directly into the bank account of farmers under this scheme.

Kisan Samman Nidhi Credit Card (KCC)

Government of India has decided to provide Kisan Samman Nidhi Credit Card to the farmers applying under Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. With the help of this card, the cardholder can take credit up to Rs. 160000/- without any guarantee. Cardholders can avail credit of up to Rs. 3 lakh with a land mortgage. The central government has started KCC campaign for 15 days to distribute Kisan Credit Cards. This campaign has started from 10 February 2020.

Kisan Samman Nidhi First Payment Status

The government will cover 4.74 crore farmers for the first installment transfer under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The expenditure of PM Kisan Yojana is Rs 75000 crores. Out of 4.74 crore, a total of 2.74 crore farmers have got the first installment so far and rest of the farmers will get the amount by the end of the month. You know that Punjab and Haryana are on top in getting the benefit of the scheme because more than 80 percent of the farmers registered under this scheme have got the first installment. In the state of Uttar Pradesh, one crore farmer has got the first installment of Rs.2000. The beneficiary of the first installment will get the amount by the end of March 2019.
