Siddharthnagar. On the occasion of Doctor’s Day on behalf of the IMA and the Amar Ujala Foundation, seedlings were planted on Thursday in the Gorakhpur-Basti division on behalf of doctors who were martyred during the Corona period. On this occasion it was decided to keep the planted plants green so that the memories of the lost healers remain with us forever as the source tree of the air of life.
The seedlings were planted at 9 a.m. on the campus of the city’s Buddha Vidyapeeth College. IMA Siddharthnagar President and former CMO Dr. MP Kasodhan, CMO Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary together with SDO PK Tripathi of the Ministry of Forestry and Dr. Bharat Bhushan Dwivedi, director of the college, planted seedlings. A sapling was born in the name of the martyr Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, who sacrificed his life to save others during the Corona period, while saplings were planted in the Gorakhpur-Basti division to commemorate the doctors who were martyred during that time.
Started with Peepal Plant
The peepal plant was created in memory of Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, who was martyred during the Corona period. IMA President Dr. MP Kasodhan said the seedlings will be safe on the college campus while the plants that have been planted on behalf of the doctors will be cared for by IMA. CMO Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary informed about the religious and scientific importance of the peepal tree. SDO PK Tripathi said that 20 seedlings of peepal, neem, mango were planted, native species are important for environmental protection and biodiversity. Headmaster Dr. Bharat Bhushan Dwivedi said doctors saved the lives of others by risking their lives during the corona period. I bow down to these martyrs from the bottom of my heart.
