Firozabad. Under the Jan Andolan-2021 plantation, 31 lakh, 62,800 seedlings were planted on Sunday at the district headquarters, at the Tehsil, Block, Village and Nagar-Panchayat plains. The campaign started with a plantation on the banks of the canal near Pavarai, Jasrana. Smriti Van was also established in the nursery of the Dabrai horticultural department.
As part of the tree plantation mass movement campaign, a plantation campaign was started on Sunday from the district to the Panchayat plain. Rajendra Pensia, the government-appointed overseer, planted amla seedlings in the Forestry and Horticulture Department’s nursery in Civil Lines. He checked the plantation action and also carried out archival checks.
As part of the campaign, which ran from July 1st to 7th, more than 21,000 seedlings were planted within a 25 km radius from Jhalgopalpur to Nandpur on both sides of the Jasrana Canal. In the program DM Chandra Vijay Singh, CDO Famous Gaur, MP Chandrasen Jadaun, MLA Manish Asija, Ram Gopal alias Pappu Lodhi planted seedlings of species such as Mango, Guava, Jamun etc.
In the campaign, all 564 Gram Panchayat buildings of the district and country of Nazul etc. were set up as memorial forests. DFO Swatantra Kumar Srivastava, Xen Irrigation Dharmendra Kumar, DDO Rajesh Kuril, PD Devendra Pratap, DPRO Neeraj Kumar Sinha, Agriculture Officer Ravikant Singh, SDM Sadar Rajesh Kumar were present in the program.
The district administration and the forestry department planted a total of 31 lakh, 62,800 seedlings as part of the action on Sunday. Of these, 14 lakh 68,535 seedlings were planted by the forestry department and 16 lakh 54,265 seedlings were planted by other departments against the overall target.

Institutions like Municipal Corporation-IFFCO also planted seedlings
City Commissioner Vijay Kumar said that 10,000 seedlings were planted by the city community as part of the plantation campaign. Various organizations and officials from the BK Corporation of IFFCO and KRIBHCO, a public sector fertilizer manufacturer, planted seedlings in the gram panchayats.

His role was special –
A few attentive minds also played an active role during the plantation trip. Among these, Pradhan Omvir, the head of Rewa Gram Panchayat Kamlesh Yadav, Rajesh Yadav from Nagla Police Station, Mithlesh Yadav from Modha Panchayat, Ramniwas Yadav, Kanthari from Araon Block, Pradhan Pradeep Kumar Panchaya played an important role in the plantation in Shekhanpur Panchaya.

Ministry of Forestry, Irrigation, Pollution Control Agency, PWD, Setu Nigam, Wipra, Agriculture, Agriculture, Defense, Cooperative, Social Welfare, Police, ARTO, Industry and Labor, etc. were involved in the plantation action.

He said that not only the police lines but all police stations in the district would take over the job of planting seedlings in their respective areas.
