Yash Raj Films production company Pathan, directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, hit screens last week on January 25. The film which was released worldwide on 8000 screens had a wide release on 2500 screens in the overseas market. This wide release, coupled with an overwhelmingly positive response from critics and the public, has greatly boosted Pathan’s business. In fact, with each passing day, Pathan is rewriting the box office record books in both the domestic and international markets.
After a stellar debut with a staggering $4.5 million [Rs. 36.68 cr.] On the first day, the film business managed to maintain momentum with USD 3.8 million [Rs. 30.97 cr.] and $5.3 million [Rs. 43.20 cr.] Arriving on the second and third day respectively. After this Pathan running on the fourth day he saw another 6.5 million dollars [Rs. 52.98 cr.] is coming. Now, in its fifth day, Pathan has managed to raise another $5.3 million. [Rs. 43.22 cr.]With this, Pathan’s total gross at the overseas box office is set at USD 25.4 million. [Rs. 207.22 cr.],
Right now, Pathan has managed to cross Rs. 200 crores. At the box office abroad, Mark continues his winning streak at the box office. In fact, trade predictions suggest that Pathan is ready to increase his collections in the first week.
