Yash Raj Films’ Pathan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is breaking records at both domestic and foreign box offices. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, which opened on 8,000 screens worldwide, is making money after opening on a high note. After crossing Rs. 100 crores 200 crores and Rs. 300 crore mark in record time, Pathan has crossed the Rs. 400 crore mark at the global box office on its fourth day.
Collecting Rs. Earning Rs 429 crores worldwide in just 4 days, Pathan is another Rs. 100 crore + day on his fourth day as he collected Rs. 53.25 crore nett in India (Hindi, all dubbed versions), bringing India’s gross to Rs. 64 crores. On the fourth day, the foreign gross is at Rs. 52 crores, bringing the total take on the fourth day of release to Rs. 116 crores gross. With his fourth day collections, Pathan has become one of the fastest films to cross Rs. It earned a staggering Rs 400 crore at the worldwide box office. 429 crores in 4 days.
Part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious Spy Universe, Pathan is now celebrated across the country. Still drawing audiences across the board, business estimates predict an even bigger increase in business on its fifth day. In fact, advance estimates suggest that Pathan could come close to Rs. 500 crores at the worldwide box office by the end of its 5-day extended opening weekend.
