Paryusarn Festival, Jain Temple Decorated

Shri Mahavir Jinalaya – The latest and grandest among the eleven Jain temples of the city is the Mahavir Jinalaya, which is located near the Tehsil office. The direction of the temple is east facing, in which the idol of Moolnayak Lord Mahavir Swami is installed. The idol of the black color in Padmasana is very beautiful and huge. The foundation stone of Bhagwan Mahavir Jinalaya was laid in the year 2014 under the holy guidance of Aryika Gunamati Mataji Sangha, the supreme disciple of Saint Shiromani Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj. In the year 2017, the temple construction work was completed under the guidance of Aryika Mata Rijumati Mataji Sangha. Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj, Madavara and all social service organizations had an important contribution in the construction of the temple. The General Secretary of Chaturmas Committee, Dr. Rakesh Singhai said that in the month of February 2018, under the guidance of Guruvar Vidyasagar Maharaj’s disciple Muniraj Samay Sagar Maharaj Sangh and Pratishacharya Brahmachari Vinay Bhaiya, after 60 years in the city, the religion was effectively grand and Panchkalyanak was completed.
Paryushan festival begins from today

On the sixth day, it is necessary to work with restraint while keeping the mind under control. On the seventh day, do penance for the strength that is needed to remove the dirty habits. On the eighth day, it is taken to give knowledge, fearlessness, food, medicine etc. to the vessel, on the ninth day not to be selfish in the mind for anything etc. and on the tenth day to practice virtues and to keep oneself pure.
Special event will be held in Shri Kshetrapal Mandir
Shri Kshetrapal Mandir Managing Committee President Modi Pankaj Jain told that there will be meditation at 5.30 am on Friday, Abhishek Shanti Dhara at 6.30 am, worship at 7.30 pm and discourses from 9 am. Special worship programs will also be organized in other temples of the city.
