Dongrakhurd. On the border of Pali tehsil area, the road from Patna to Parol was cut due to the flow of water within three years. Due to this, the commuters are facing a lot of problems apart from the pedestrians. On Friday, a vehicle got stuck in the sliding, the villagers pulled it out with a tractor after hard work. The road from Patna to Parol falls on the Keolari drain. About three years ago, the Public Works Department had built a raft along the road on the drain, but the raft could not last even two years and some part of it got washed away in the flow of water. This road gets closed during the rainy season after the Rapata flows. According to the villagers, vehicles often got stuck in it. Due to this, the villagers have to face great difficulties for four months. After the rain ends, the villagers make a workable way by pouring ballast. On Friday afternoon, when a car passed by carrying the goods, it got stuck in the road. On information, the nearby villagers got the tractor and somehow got the vehicle out. Village’s Deepak, Jagan Kushwaha and Devi Prasad say that during the rainy season, the drain is in spate, so passing through it puts lives at risk. The villagers have demanded the DM to improve the road and track in the public interest.
