The BJP has won 12 of the 14 seats of District President Panchayat of the Kanpur-Bundelkhand region. However, the party claims victory in 13 seats. In Kanpur Dehat, BJP did not nominate a candidate, now it is named as its own after the victory. In fact, MEP Devendra Singh Bhole’s sister-in-law, Neeraj Rani, rebelled against the party in the countryside and ran as an independent candidate. The BJP is very happy to have won in all seats except Etawah. The way party officials and workers celebrate the victory is clear that the BJP sees this as a good sign for the 2022 general election.

Of these 13 seats in the region, the party had already been unanimously elected to four seats (Banda, Chitrakoot, Lalitpur and Jhansi). In the previous tenure, the BJP could only have its president in one district, Fatehpur. Along with the BJP’s strategy of gaining 13 spots directly from one place, it is also told a strategy of power.
