In Chitrakoot, the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President and Panchayat District members took place on the Panchayat District premises. District Judge Shubhrant Kumar Shukla took the oath of newly elected Panchayat District President Ashok Jatav on Monday. Then the speaker took the oath of the members. Following the oath of the newly elected District Panchayat President and District Panchayat Member, the first Panchayat Board Meeting was organized in the Zilla Panchayat Auditorium on Monday. The formation of six Zilla Panchayat committees was considered.

In which the presence of all 17 newly elected members has authorized Ashok Jatav, the chairman of all committees with unanimous consent. In addition, the chairman received the introduction of all staff and members of the Panchayat department. Various points were discussed. The newly elected President of Panchayat District Ashok Jatav said that the Chitrakoot Panchayat Development Board is the district’s legacy.

The development of the district is everyone’s goal. He has spoken to all members about leading the board and doing development work in their area and appealed to all to work together for development. He said the Panchayat board’s funds would be used without discrimination for the development work of all newly elected members in the 17 counties.

Meanwhile, the additional Chief Officer Surendra Kumar Verma informed the newly elected President that the Zilla Panchayat’s term of office begins today according to the constitution. There are six committees in the Zilla Panchayat. There are 6 members in a committee, he is ex officio chairman. That being said, it is mandatory to have a female member, a backward class member, and a scheduled caste member on each committee.
