Panchayat by-election: election officers changed in five blocks in the Mainpuri district

In the Mainpuri district, the process for the by-elections of the vacant posts in the Panchayat elections has begun. District Judge Mahendra Bahadur Singh has dispatched RO to conduct the electoral process in nine blocks of the district. The RO (electoral officer) was changed by five blocks. Under the new order, District Agriculture Officer Dr. Gagandeep Singh in the Mainpuri Block, Assistant Engineer Minor Irrigation PK Agarwal in the Ghiror Block, Dr. Hariom, Veterinary Officer in the Bewar Block, Dr. Dilip Bharti, Veterinary Officer in Kishni and Virendra in Karhal Kumar Bhushan Divisional Forest Officer have been appointed RO.

The officers already deployed in the other four blocks were given responsibility by RO. These include District Program Officer Arvind Kumar in the Kurawali Block, Mahendra Pratap, Backward Classes Welfare Officer in the Sultanganj Block, Dr. Indra Singh, Social Welfare Officer in the Barnahal Block and DV Singh, Deputy Agriculture Director in Jagir. All ROs will carry out their responsibilities from the nomination process to voting and counting of votes.

37 AROs were also used

Together with the RO, the district judge has also issued an order for the use of ARO. A total of 37 AROs were deployed in nine blocks in the district. Four AROs each were appointed in Mainpuri, Ghiror, Kurawali, Kishni, Barnahal and Karhal. At the same time five AROs were appointed in Bewar, Sultanganj and three in Jagir.Two ROs and five AROs remain in reserve
Two ROs and five AROs were also kept in reserve to examine the modalities of elections in the event of unavoidable circumstances. BSA Vijay Pratap Singh and Executive Engineer Jal Nigam RK Sharma were added to the reserve. At the same time, five young engineers from the civil engineering office were kept in the reserve ARO.

Deputy District Returning Officer Isha Priya said the order for the dispatch of RO and ARO was issued by the district judge for the Panchayat by-election. With the use of ROs and AROs in nine blocks, two ROs and five AROs are also kept in reserve.
