Sitapur. The question of the elections to be held on July 3rd for the office of District President of Panchayat has reached the Supreme Court. After hearing a petition from the Samajwadi Party candidate, the Supreme Court has ordered the electoral process to be conducted with absolute fairness. The matter will be heard on July 9th.
Shraddha Sagar from BJP and Anita Rajvanshi from SP tied the knot for the election of District President Panchayat. There are also two independent candidates in the fight. The direct election campaign is believed to be between BJP and SP. Shortly before the election, a petition was filed with the High Court on behalf of Samajwadi Party candidate Anita Rajvanshi.
There was talk of harassment in elections. Upon hearing this, a department bank led by Judge Saurabh Lavania and Judge Ranjan Rai ordered the electoral commission to hold elections in Sitapur with absolute fairness and according to the prescribed criteria. In setting the next hearing on the matter on July 9, the court said that if an important point comes up during the election on the appointed date, it will be discussed. On behalf of SP candidate Anita Rajvanshi, this petition was submitted to the High Court by lawyers SK Kalia and Amit Bhadauria.
