Gyanpur After the two-day weekly lockdown, the markets opened on Monday. Crowds flocked to the shops to buy the essentials. Some people were seen following the covid guidelines, others neither wore masks nor followed social distance.
Following orders from the government to break the corona chain, the district had a 59-hour corona curfew. The markets were quiet from eight o’clock on Friday evening until seven in the morning. After eight in the morning the shutters opened and crowds of people flocked to look for important goods. Durgagranj Tiraha from Gyanpur, Kharhatti Mohal, Sadar Mohal, Mirzapur Road, Mirzapur Road, Gopiganj Nagar and other markets, including Aurai, Suriyawan, Modha, Chauri, looked more or less the same. Some people seem to be aware of the growing infection from Corona, while a large number are still negligent. Because of this, people who came to the markets to shop did not seem to follow social distance. Policies have been violated in places such as the medical supply store, grocery store, vegetable market, etc. Women and young people in particular did not seem to obey the rules.
