This time the government has set itself the goal of growing onions on 50 hectares of land in Kharif during the season. For this, free seeds are distributed to the farmers. Onion seeds are given to farmers according to the “first come, first served” principle. The farmers also benefit from this and their dependence on sugar cane is reduced. Next year, farmers will be aware of growing onions in more areas.
