On the return of Choti Sarrdaarni fame Amal Sehrawat

The last two years have been tough for Amal Sehrawat. The actor lost his father to COVID-19 in June 2020 and his mother tested positive twice around that time. Amal decided to spend his time in Delhi with his family and had to shuttle between Jaipur to Mumbai to shoot for Choti Sarrdaarni for almost six months until he finished his track in February last year.

The actor is now back in Mumbai and is all set for his upcoming project produced by Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar.

During a recent interview with BT, Amal spoke about it and shared, “After the completion of my track in Choti Sarrdaarni, I could not focus on my acting career, because of my father’s demise. After that I was absorbed in my responsibilities towards my family. His sudden demise shattered my mother and I decided to be with her during that time. Also, I had to sort out the finances and decide what to do. How do I move on in my life. I even thought of moving to Delhi, as I didn’t want to be away from my mother. It took me some time to convince her to move to Mumbai with me.

He added, “I am glad that my mother liked it here. I feel finally settled in Mumbai with my wife, son and mother.
During his year-long stay in Delhi, he also briefly looked after his father’s crockery business with his brother, but soon realized that this was not his cup of tea. ,

Talking about the offer to the makers of Choti Sarrdaarni, she shared, “I happily accepted their offer. They know my demeanor, temperament and talent, so I don’t need to reinvent myself. It’s nice to be back with the team. The show is a love story of a Haryanvi boy and a South Indian girl.”
