Recong Peo (Kinnaur). In the rural areas of Kinnaur, there will also be an offline vaccination registration facility for people aged 18-44. Reckong Peo will have 60 percent offline and 40 percent online functionality. This is what Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa said as he chaired the meeting of the district-level task force set up to deal with the corona epidemic.
The deputy commissioner said that the state government made this decision at the request of the people of the tribal area. He said people in the 18-44 age group had difficulty booking vaccination spots due to lack of internet connectivity in some areas of the county. With this in mind, the state government has decided to register offline for tribal areas and book slots. He said that first come, first served, tokens would be issued at the vaccination center for offline vaccination registration so that the center would not be unnecessarily overcrowded.
So far, in the first phase, the first dose of the vaccine has been given to 1,480 people in the 18-44 age group, which is more than the goal. In the second phase, the vaccination process is started depending on the availability of the vaccination. For this purpose, the information of the vaccination center is communicated separately. On this occasion the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sonam Negi and Dr. Anvesha present.
