Sacrifice in the path of Allah, Eid-ul-Adha prayers read in the houses
Deorie. The Bakrid Festival was celebrated in the district on Wednesday with full devotion. Eid-ul-Adha prayers were performed in houses such as various Idgahs and mosques. Due to the corona protocol, the believers refrained from hugs after the namaz for the second year in a row. After namaz was sacrificed, the time of sacrifice in Allah’s way began.
During Namaz, prayers were sought for peace and prosperity in the country. In the shadow of the Corona directive, Bakrid prayers were also performed in various mosque Idgahs and from door to door with Aqeedat in the second year. Eid ul Azha is considered to be the second largest festival in the Muslim community. The imam introduced in Anjuman Idgah on Malviya Road in town prayed five people including Sadar Mohammad Jalaluddin Khan and Officer Jamal Chishti. Namaz was offered on Tehsil Road Jama Masjid Abubakar Nagar, Choti Masjid, Madina Masjid, Kurna Nala Masjid, Bans Deoria in town. People like Rampur Karkhana Badi Masjid, Jama Idgah, Madina Masjid, Masjid Aqsa and Bauli Masjid also offered Namaz at home. Salempur, Shampur alias Deoria, Navalpur, Lar, Chakmukam Ali, Aurangabad, Barhaj, Rudrapur, Bhatparrani, Bhatni, Desahi Deoria, Barwa Mirchapar Baijnathpur, Deoria Budhu Khan, Kaulachapar, Pakri Virbhadra, Dumpur, Samampur, Shampur, Vampur Namaz was performed with aqeedat in Chirkihwa.
Police ready to obey protocol
On the occasion of Bakrid, the state government only allowed 50 people to offer Namaz together in the mosque and in Idgah. On the contrary, in the district only five people were allowed to offer Namaz. In order to follow the Corona protocol, police officers from various police stations in the Lagayat district have been running out of the city in Muslim-dominated areas since morning. The day before, the Beat soldiers from the mosque and Idgah in their area had given the Imam and the arranger information about the prayers of five people. To comply with this, the police arrived at the mosques and Idgahs in their respective areas from 6 a.m. However, prayers were said in multiple shifts in mosques and Idgah in rural areas including the county. After the sacrifice, the meat was also distributed among the surrounding houses. On the occasion of the festival, delicious dishes were also prepared in Muslim homes.
