NTPC To Prepare Youth For Selection In Armed Forces

NTPC will train the youth of Singrauli (Shaktinagar) region to prepare for the competitive examinations of the Armed Forces. In the first phase 50 youth have been selected for training. NTPC has taken this initiative under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence Day.
In order to commemorate the 75th year of independence, a roadmap has been drawn up to prepare the youth of the region for selection in the Armed Forces under the Social Responsibility Program in conjunction with the CSR Section. In the first phase, 35 boys and 15 girls have been selected. Based on their age, academic ability, height, three months of theoretical and physical exercises will be done. Head of the Department of Human Resources V. Shiva Prasad informed that training is also being started for the preparation of competitive examination of armed forces. Ashok Tripathi, District Coordinator of the Center for Entrepreneurship Development Madhya Pradesh (CEDMAP) for Training underlined the importance of training for a better and disciplined force keeping in view the role of armed forces in defense services. CSR executive Lalit Kumar said that every effort is being made by the section to raise the standard of living of the local residents.
