Mahoba. On Thursday, DM Satyendra Kumar inaugurated the Mineral Command Center on the premises of the Collectorate and Tinshed, which was being established by the District Advocates Committee on the Sadar Tehsil premises. With the help of the technology, the illegal mineral transport from Lucknow to the district is to be monitored. To this end, sensor cameras installed at the outposts at six locations in the district keep an eye on every activity around the clock.
The DM said that in order to control illegal mining and transportation, centers have been set up to continuously monitor the control gates in the district. The district’s Mineral Command Center has also been linked to the Directorate of Minerals’ Integrated Mineral Command Center Lucknow. When monitoring the mineral transport, the negligence of officials and employees in the district can be seen from the command center of the management.
Since all vehicles that transport minerals are also linked to the transportation department, the Automated Mineral Command Center receives full details of all vehicles that transport minerals out of the district. An online challan is generated for vehicles that transport EMM11 without a valid mineral transport form. House guards and babu serving at the control gate of the Mineral Command Center are also monitored.
If an employee tries to get the vehicles with illegal minerals through the gate, legal action will be taken against them by registering a case. On the other hand, the DM planted seedlings at the inauguration of the canning house built by the district attorney’s committee in the courtyard of Tehsil Sadar. The Mineral Command Center inaugurated was attended by ADM RS Verma, Mining Officer Shailendra Singh, DIO Satish Yadav, and other officers and staff.
