In this regard, District Forestry Officer VK Mishra said seven ranger-led teams have been set up in all seven areas for crane counting in the district. Not a single crane was found in these areas. As part of the plan to save the stork, the number of state birds will be increased.

The scientific name of the stork bird is grass antigone. It is the largest flying bird. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number in the whole country. This bird always lives in pairs. This bird is found in rivers, ponds, lakes and quiet places.
