Dr. Kheeraj, in charge of the medical hospital, said four patients died here. Apart from three patients who lived in Meerut, Kalu and Sanjeev, a black fungus has been confirmed in Rajendra from Saharanpur. One suspected patient was Hapur. On the other hand, Dr. Puneet Bhargava that three new cases had come to his clinic, he had not yet been admitted.In the meantime, 8,761 corona samples were examined on Saturday. In rural areas, 3213 people were also screened, 115 of whom were positive. Of these, 29 were confirmed as antigens and 86 in RTPCR.

OPD preparations for black fungus patients from tomorrow
OPD is slated to begin in state hospitals for Black Fungus patients from Monday. ENT doctors will treat these patients for OPD. CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said a decision will be made on where the OPD will begin.

50 percent of the injections meet for private hospitals
The injection used to treat black fungus is not available on the market. It is for this reason that patients and doctors who seek treatment in private hospitals are upset. In fact, there are instructions to only bill the central and state governments for this injection until May 31.

In this regard, Naresh Chand Gupta, President of the Druggist and Chemist Association and Secretary General Rajneesh Kaushal, wrote to all public officials. The letter requested that of all injections made available, 50 percent of those injections should be given to government hospitals and 50 percent of the injections available on the market should be safe for private hospitals.

31 patients undergoing medical treatment
The Medical College’s Kovid Hospital has 34 patients admitted to 199 corona and black fungus (mucormycosis) wards. 17 patients with black fungus are positive and 17 are negative. Two patients are suspected. There is an adequate arrangement of drugs and injections for these patients. Director Dr. Gyanendra Kumar said six new patients were enrolled with covid 19 on May 22nd.
