Baliya. The NH-31, which crosses the city, was blocked from Maldepur More to Baheri for about two hours after a truck broke down at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The drivers and pedestrians had to struggle with many problems. Traffic sub-inspector Suresh Chandra Dwivedi, who received the information, ended the traffic jam by lifting the truck off the road with the help of a crane.
Traffic Sub-Inspector Mr. Dwivedi said a truck driver followed his vehicles to turn near the gas pump in Chandrashekhar Nagar. Meanwhile the truck broke down. As a result, vehicles were blocked on both sides of the road. After receiving the information, the traffic police parked the truck on the side of the road with the help of a crane and ended the traffic jam. He said that because of the traffic jam, the route of the vehicles was diverted towards Phephna, Rasra, Bharauli and sent to Phephna via Gadwar.
