There was a stir on Tuesday afternoon in the Pasema village of Bhitargaon town in Ghatampur when new banknotes worth two hundred five hundred two thousand were found in a dry old well. When some boys tied and hung Labher bouquets in a string, many pieces of paper stuck. The news that the note had come from the well spread like a fire in the surrounding villages. Soon a crowd gathered near the well. According to the villagers, eight to 9,000 rupees have come out of the well so far.
