Ncl’s Steps In Coal Production And Dispatch Commendable: Prahlad Joshi

In the program held through virtual medium, the foundation stone of projects worth more than 1500 crores was laid. Also, the development of road infrastructure in the mine area will help in smooth coal dispatch even during rains. Congratulating Team NCL, Raosaheb Patil said that with the commissioning of these FMC projects, environment friendly mechanized coal dispatch system will be promoted and NCL’s coal dispatch capacity will increase by 19.5 million tonnes per annum. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Coal said that the company’s efforts towards coal transportation and green mining through mechanized and environmental methods are commendable. Coal India CMD Pramod Agarwal gave detailed information about the company’s work towards green and sustainable mining and clean dispatch. In the ceremony, NCL CMD Bhola Singh welcomed the guests and Director Technical SS Sinha laid the details of the projects. Director Technical-Operations Dr. Anindya Sinha expressed vote of thanks. In the virtual program, Minister Prahlad Joshi laid the foundation stone of 10 MTPA Coal Handling Plant (CHP) in Nigahi Project and another Coal Handling Plant (CHP) for Bina-Kakri Project with an annual capacity of 9.5 MTPA. Layed the foundation stone for the construction of a total of 49.6 km of cement concrete (CC) road for internal coal transportation within the mines in various projects of NCL located in UP and MP. The foundation stone of a 3.1 kilometer long and 18 meter wide five lane cement concrete (CC) road was also laid from West Sub Station Jayant to Kanta Mor. This road has been segregated for coal transport and general public use through dividers, which will reduce traffic jams, air pollution and improve road safety as well.
