Nakuul Mehta discharged from hospital

Nakuul Mehta who was admitted to the hospital for appendix surgery has been discharged from the hospital. According to reports, the actor was discharged around 6:15 pm yesterday and is expected to resume shooting from June 8 or 10.

Nakul is best known for playing the role of Ram Kapoor in Ekta Kapoor’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. The show is expected to leap soon.

Nakul was operated upon at Sujay Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. Confirming the news, a doctor at the hospital said, “Yes, Nakul has been discharged. He will need 5-7 days’ rest. However he will have to come to change his dressing.”

Earlier in the afternoon, Nakul shared a health update on his Instagram account where he wrote, “To everyone who reached.. Like Forrest Gump would say.. ‘My mama always said life is like a box of chocolates’ Was the one you never know what you’re gonna meet..’ We were hospitalized from the festival in a span of 24 hours. The first thing I thought was…hey, filming is going to get affected, but then what One can plan life, I am overwhelmed by all the messages, calls and tweets. It may take a few days for me to meet them, until I regain my strength and the pressing need for good coffee However, the good news is that we have just lost our appendix and hopefully not our senses!”
