The decision was made at a meeting chaired by District Judge Andra Vamsi in the auditorium of Vikas Bhawan on Tuesday. The district judge instructed the doctors to timely recruit the covid patients and treat them according to the covid protocol.
The district judge said the district needs 40-50 ventilators every day. Patients are not treated for lack of ventilation. In view of this, the district administration will buy 20 fans and the municipal body will buy 10 fans. He appealed to donors to sign up for the 10 ventilators. That said, around 100 people are ready to donate plasma. To donate the plasma, register by calling 0510-22440399.
He expressed his displeasure with not recruiting patients despite adequate beds at BHEL, Paramedical College, CHC Baragaon, CHC Baruasagar, Shelter Home Municipal Corporation and Cantt Hospital. He asked to improve the oxygen supply in all L-Two hospitals. Two RTPCR machines are being upgraded at Laxmibai Medical College to accelerate RTPCR results. He said these machines will be installed soon. The district judge expressed his displeasure at the Kovid Helpdesk, which was available at the medical college, and directed him to operate it. CDO Shailesh Kumar, Community Commissioner Avnish Rai, ADM Sanjay Pandey, Director NS Sanger, CO Cantt Dr. Vinod Vigneshwar, Magistrate Salil Patel, were present at the meeting.
