Municipality Not Serious About Removing Encroachment In The City

Bahjoi. The Municipal Council is not showing seriousness in removing encroachments in the city. Due to this common citizens have to face a lot of difficulty in commuting. In the past, instructions were given to the executive officer on behalf of the District Magistrate regarding the removal of encroachments in other main roads and markets including Railway Station Road. Despite this nothing came of result, the problem remains as it is.
In the city, along with the railway station, there is a situation of encroachment on the main roads and markets like Kath Bazar, Pottery Bazar, Sarafa Bazar, Sambhal Road, Islamnagar Road, Brahmabazar, Narayan Tola and Naya Bazar etc.
Apart from this, the random bikes parked in front of shops and houses and the entry of heavy vehicles in the city during the day are causing problems for the people. In the meeting of Udyog Bandhu, Vyapar Bandhu held in the Collectorate Auditorium in the past, many times a demand has been made on behalf of the traders to run a campaign for encroachment in the city.
On the other hand, on August 10, while directing the executive officer, District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan said that a campaign would be launched to remove the encroachment in other roads and markets including the railway station.
