After successful all 9 in their league suits within the ongoing ODI World Cup, India have certified for the semi-finals of the match and can face New Zealand on the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Ahead of that, Mumbai Police has won details about resale of tickets and is lately running at the construction.
According to DCP (Circle-1) Praveen Munde, tickets value Rs 2,500-4,000 are being offered for Rs 25,000-50,000. He stated that his crew has already contacted the accused and extra investigation is underway.
“The ticket for the New Zealand vs India World Cup match, which would have cost around Rs 2500 to Rs 4000, was being sold for Rs 25000-50000. After receiving the information, our team contacted the accused and action was taken. Further investigation is underway in the case,” Praveen stated.
