Mp And Dm Honored The Families Of Ex-servicemen

Chitrakoot. The ‘outreach program’ to the ex-servicemen of the White Tiger Division was organized in the presence of MP RK Singh Patel and DM Shubhrant Kumar Shukla at the National Ramayana Mela Complex, Sitapur. In this, 269 Medium Regiment Autonomous along with Armed Forces celebrated Amrit Mahotsav by reaching the gates of Ex-Servicemen and also gave gifts to the families of Ex-Servicemen. By setting up a camp in the campus, the problems of the families of ex-servicemen were also resolved. On Wednesday, the MP and DM inspected the medical camp, bank counselor, CSD canteen etc. set up for the ex-servicemen and their families in the Rashtriya Ramayana Mela premises. District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Officer Col Sudeep Singh Madra was asked to set up a medical department camp here so that the ex-servicemen and their families get vaccinated against COVID-19. During this, everyone was honored by presenting mementoes. The MP said that because of the soldiers, we are sleeping peacefully at home. Ex-servicemen and their families should take maximum advantage of the camp. The DM said that the youth should study and join the army and serve in the interest of the country. During the program, Army officials said that on the occasion of 75 years of independence, the Government of India has started the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. The objective of this initiative is to showcase the glorious history, culture and achievements of the countrymen. During this, District Panchayat President Ashok Jatav, former MLA Dinesh Kumar Mishra and concerned officers, Deputy Commanding Officer of the Army, Batty Commander, Subedar Major, Ex-Servicemen and their families were present.
