The college’s educational system has gotten off track due to the vacancy of the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Physics and Art due to the relocation of geography and English.

In 2020, the regional MLA Rahul Prakash Kol presented a letter to the chief minister to appoint professors to help overcome the college’s plight. Taking the AMLA’s motion seriously, the Prime Minister had eliminated the shortage of professors by transferring them to the vacant positions with immediate effect. As soon as such professors got the opportunity, they made an online transfer. The special thing is that the universities bordering the city are full of professors. Where there is no shortage of professors at colleges like Naini Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna College, Aurai PG College, Banaras Government PG College, but in this location where the only option for education is Government PG College. The parents are angry about the professors being transferred there.
