Shahjahanpur. In view of the possibility of a third wave of corona in the Government Medical College, a mock drill was done. During this, the staff was told how to get patients admitted to their treatment. Nodal officers inspected the mock drill.
On Thursday, a mock drill was conducted at the Government Medical College. In the third wave of corona, how the patient is to be admitted, in what condition which medicine is to be given, the medical staff has been trained. Under the direction of Dr. Akhilesh and CMS Dr. AUP Sinha, the mock drill was also seen using all the medical equipment.
Dr. Kumar Gunjan SMO WHO from DGMH, Dr. Satyendra from Co-Nodal PICU, Dr. Mohammad Shadab from DGME inspected the entire mock drill and issued necessary guidelines. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that in view of the possibility of third wave of corona in the Government Medical College, a mock drill was done.
All equipments were seen to be operated. Staff has also been trained. Adequate number of beds, medicines are available in the medical college to deal with the third wave. The staff has been trained to operate the ventilator.
