The application process for admission to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth is ongoing. Admission is based on both the entrance test and the performance. So far, around 30 thousand applicants have applied for admission to the university. At the same time, fewer than twice as many applications for the places were received in 29 courses.The Chancellor Dr. Saheb Lal Maurya announced that admission to courses with fewer than twice the number of applications in relation to the number of places is based on performance. It is suggested to take the entrance exam after the annual and semester exams. Consideration is given to taking entrance exams in the last week of July or the first week of August. However, no final decision has yet been made about the entrance exams.

In the past year, 31,500 applicants applied for admission to 62 Bachelor and Master courses. The final deadline for completing the research entrance exam form is June 30th. It was decided to carry out the bachelor’s examinations, the second and third sections as well as the postgraduate semester examinations in three shifts from July 15. There is still the possibility to fill out the examination form. Institutional and individual candidates in the second, fourth and sixth semesters can fill out the online exam form up to June 30th. Students can submit the application in paper form to the respective universities by July 1st.
