Drummondganj. Divisional Forest Officer PS Tiwari conducted a surprise inspection of the Drummondganj Forest Range Office on Sunday. He searched all files of the office. The DFO first looked at the presence list of the forest staff posted there. Had a meeting with everyone in charge of the beat, including the ranger. All Beat officials were given strict instructions that there should be no illegal mining or illegal encroachment on woodland in the entire forest area. If involvement or negligence is found, action can be taken against the person responsible for Beat. The district forest officer instructed regular patrols in the forest area and the protection of the planted seedlings. On this occasion all forest rangers and other forest personnel were present together with the regional forest officer Virendra Kumar Tiwari.
Ranger removed encroachments from woodland
Drummondganj. Led by regional forest officer Drummondganj, the forest ministry troops cleared around eight acres of woodland in Babura Raghunath Singh forest section number four, five and six on Sunday. The troops of the forestry office destroyed the madha and bamboo barricades erected by the intruders in many places in the reserved woodland. During the operation, the intruders fled the site. Ranger VK Tiwari said departmental action will be taken against the intruders through identification. The forest guards Sarvesh Kumar Patel, Sanjeev Kumar Patel, Ram Sajeevan, Sanjay Pathak, Siyaram Pal etc. were involved in the action.
