Kosikalan (Mathura). Krishnada’s Maharaj, who was National President of All India Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhara for twelve consecutive years, merged with Panchtatva on Friday. He was about 80 years old. Hundreds of wet eyes bid him farewell. Minister of State for Dairy Development, Livestock and Fisheries, Choudhary Laxminarayan, all the sages and saints, Mahants attended his final rites. Krishnadas died on Thursday night.
The last Krishnadas rites were performed in the Mouni Baba Ashram on the highway. His body was held for darshan from 10 a.m. After that, his last journey was made by train to the village of Kotvan. The cabinet ministers Chaudhary Laxminarayan, Mouni Baba, Baba Balakdas, Phooldol Das, Sarveshwaran Das, Bharatdas, Ramdutt Das etc. performed the final rites with Vedic chants. Women also attended the funeral. Now a memorial for Maharaj is being erected in the ashram. At the same time, Mouni Maharaj described him as a very hardworking, cooperative and devoted personality of the Hindutva and praised him.
