Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is currently filming his next project with director Trivikram Srinivas. The film is tentatively titled #SSMB28 and with this, the actor-director duo will score a hat-trick. SSMB28 has sold the digital rights for a large amount to a large broadcasting company. OTT platform Netflix has bought the digital rights to Mahesh Babu starrer SSMB 28 for Rs 81 crore. A source close to the development told The Indian Express that it is the only Telugu film to have garnered the most from such a deal. Mahesh Babu is shooting the much awaited movie in Hyderabad. The film also stars Pooja Hegde to play the female lead. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see Mahesh in a tough avatar with Roti. Her look has already created interest among her fans. Actor and director Trivikram Srinivas has already successfully hosted Athadu and Khaleja. After two successful movies, fans are expecting another blockbuster from the couple. SSMB28 will be produced by S Radhakrishna (China Babu) under the banner of Harika and Haseen Creations. The film will be edited by National Award-winning editor Naveen Nooli and will be out for rent this year. The actor was last seen in the 2022 release Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which did not live up to the expectations of the fans. However, with SSMB28, fans are expecting a blockbuster. Following this, Mahesh Babu will start the film with RRR director SS Rajamouli, which was previously announced in 2022.
On the job front, Mahesh Babu will be seen in the next film from RRR director SS Rajamouli. He was last seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata in 2022, which did not meet the expectations of the fans.
