LPG cylinder price increased from July 1st – Inflation: Price increase for household bottles, more expensive by Rs 25.50

After gasoline and diesel, the prices for liquefied gas bottles also rose. There was an increase of 25.50 rupees for household bottles, 84 rupees for commercial bottles and 9 rupees for 5 kg bottles. For the first time this year, the prices for all three cylinder types have risen at the same time. Vipul Purohit, president of the Agra division of the All Indane Gas Distributors Association, said the price of cylinders had increased after three months. The cylinder prices remained stable in April-May and June. Now the 14.2 kg cylinder has become Rs 847.50, it used to be Rs 822. The 19 kg cylinder has increased from Rs 1511 to Rs 1595.

A 5kg bottle has now grown to Rs 313, previously the price had gone up to Rs 304. Santosh Sikarwar, president of the Agra LPG Gas Distributors Association, said the new tariff will start on the morning of July 1st. As a subsidy, 12.29 rupees are added to the account.

Gudiya Sharma from Nagla Nathu said that she used to only cook on gas when the price of bottles was low, but now she has to use the stove again due to the constant price increase. Shaheed Nagar’s Aarti Parashar said that due to the increasing cost of cylinders in the normal family, the family’s budget has also been disrupted.
