Nepal: Chances of opening the lockdown increased
Sonauli (Maharajganj). The Nepalese Ministry of Interior has instructed all 77 district administrative offices and security officers in Nepal to continue the action plan. According to this information, the possibility of the lockdown opening in Nepal after June 14 has increased. But the severity will remain at the limit. A health check-up is mandatory for people traveling to and from Nepal for important work.
After newly appointed Interior Minister Khagraj Adhikari took office, the ministry issued a 12-point circular to all 77 district administration and citizen officials. In which he was told to actively control covid-19. On Saturday morning, interior spokesman Janak Raj Dahal said that the circular was issued according to the instructions of the minister. The ministry has also asked to expedite development work through effective coordination, facilitation and oversight for the timely completion of development projects carried out by the government. It was emphasized that in this way of working the health protection standards should be fully implemented.
Ashman Tamang, Rupandehi District CDO, said the covid infection was still there. Unnecessary movements at the border are prohibited. Until the risk of Covid infection subsides.
