Actress Nisha Rawal recently opened up exclusively to BollywoodLife because she is ready to take on meatier roles as an actress. Nisha Rawal, who last starred on reality show Lock Upp, where we got a glimpse of her strong personality, hints that not only is she back, she’s here to stay. The actress is making a comeback after a slightly longer hiatus and is currently awaiting an offer that will creatively satisfy the actress in her and not necessarily require her to look glamorous only on screen.

Nisha Rawal shared and explained why she’s waiting and looking forward to collaborating with people who are satisfying their creative hunger. She said: “Up until now I’ve only played the girl next door early in my career and now lately the posh glam-doll vamp. I would love to work with someone with a creative vision who understands the underlying layers of my talent and is willing to experiment with it.”

On the other hand, the actress also stressed that her work, which consists more of music videos and commercials, mostly lacked variety at first, but that the Lock Up star wants to fill this gap in her career at the current stage in which she is an artist. She also added, “Most people remember me as cute and positive because of the longevity of the career graphic in ads and music videos. I’ve also played the vamp, but only on TV and I’ve done very little on TV, so I think it’s less memorable for audiences.”
