Kotak Mahindra Bank Revises MCLR: After State Bank of India and Axis Bank, now Kotak Mahindra Bank has also given a big blow to the customers by increasing the MCLR. According to the bank’s website, the changed rates will be applicable from April 16, 2022.

State Bank of India (SBI) and Axis Bank recently gave a big blow to the customers by increasing the Marginal Cost Lending Rate (MCLR), now another bank has taken a big step and increased the burden on the customers. New rates after change
According to the website of Kotak Mahindra Bank, the MCLR for one night tenor has become 6.65 percent and for one month, 6.90 percent. It has been increased to 6.95 per cent for a period of three months and 7.25 per cent for a period of six months. Apart from this, the MCLR has been reduced to 7.40 per cent for a period of one year and 7.70 and 7.90 for two and three years respectively. The new rates will be applicable from April 16.

SBI-Axis also increased rates
Earlier on Monday, State Bank of India and Axis Bank also gave a big blow to their customers. Where SBI had increased the MCLR by 10 basis points. Apart from this, Axis Bank has also increased the MCLR by 5 basis points. Now the next day on Tuesday, Kotak Mahindra Bank has taken this decision. Let us tell you that this time also RBI kept the repo rates unchanged.

SBI’s new rates are as follows
According to the information given on SBI’s website, after the change, the LCLR rates for a period of one night to three months will be 6.75 percent from 6.65 percent. At the same time, the increase for six months will be 7.05 and for one year the MCLR will be 7.10 percent. With this increase for two and three years, the MCLR will be 7.30 and 7.40 per cent, respectively.
