Saharapur. In the second corona wave, the lack of oxygen made us cry. Now there is the possibility of a third wave, which makes it very important to put the first oxygen systems into operation. Oxygen systems are to be built at 13 community health centers in the district, but so far a platform has been built somewhere and a pipeline has been laid somewhere. The plant could not be started at any single CHC. In such a situation, when the third wave hits, the county may have to contend with the oxygen shortage again. However, officials say the facilities will be set up by the end of July.
Actually, when the second corona wave came, only oxygen had tormented people badly. The administration also had a hard time getting oxygen in the district. The district judge had to go to the Haridwar Oxygen Plant himself. Every day the patients were breathless from lack of oxygen. For this reason, the approval for the construction of oxygen systems in 11 Community Health Centers from the MLA fund and two Community Health Centers from CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) was granted in the district. It has also been approved by the government, but oxygen plants have not yet been installed in all of these community health centers.
The construction of the plant in Rampur Maniharan has not yet started. The head of this hospital says that the government has not yet received approval. A platform has been built in Fatehpur CHC, and an oxygen pipeline has already been laid in a hospital with 50 beds.
