Khodare (Gonda). The state government’s energy minister, Shrikant Sharma, laid the foundation stone for the 132 kV substation in Gharighat and the foundation stone for the 33/11 kV substation in Mohanpur in Mankapur on Thursday.
On Thursday, state government energy minister Shrikant Sharma laid the foundation stone for a $ 48.66 million 132 KVA substation in Gharighat, Gaura constituency, as part of a legitimate worship.
The energy minister also laid the foundation stone for a 33/11 substation in Mohanpur in Mankapur. As part of the program organized afterwards, the Minister of Energy provided information on the work to strengthen the electricity grid in the Gonda district.
He announced that the capacity of nineteen sub-centers in Gonda had increased to 747 billion rupees so far. 3,114 km of HT lines, 5,436 LT lines have been built, and so far 121,931 houses have been electrically lit.
68,387 households received free connections. About 9,570 obsolete transformers that were installed earlier have been replaced. The sub-center should be operational by February 2022 so that the surrounding villages receive a proper and uninterrupted power supply.
In this sequence, MP Kirtivardhan Singh also addressed the program and provided information about the various programs that the government is implementing in the interests of the people. The regional MLA Prabhat Verma, District President Suryanarayan Tiwari, and the MD of the Electricity Department also discussed the program. DM Markandeya Shahi, SP Santosh Kumar Mishra, CO Sanjay Talwar and Abdul Qayoom were present.
