Lab Maharajganj will be ready for testing of corona for 24 lakhs. A lab will be prepared for RTPCR test in the district soon. For this, the Health Department has sent a proposal of Rs 24 lakh to the Directorate General of Health for its renovation after marking the old blood bank of the CMO office premises. According to the Health Department, the government has made preparations to deal with the third wave of corona. From oxygen to beds and testing facilities are being improved. Samples will not have to be sent to Gorakhpur after a few days to test the corona. Because the facility of investigation will be available in the district itself. For this, a proposal was sought from the CMO to prepare a lab of Viosepti level two standard for testing RTPCR in the district. Due to lack of space in the district hospital to set up a lab, a proposal of 24 lakh will be sent to the old blood bank in the CMO office premises to make it a lab after corrective action. These days the sample is sent to places like Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi etc. CMO Dr. AK Srivastava informed that a proposal has been sought from the government level to mark the land in the district and prepare a lab to prepare a lab for testing RTPCR.
